Uniwords ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Uniwords mobile application. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

• •Account information: display name, email address (if you choose to sign in with email), and profile photo (if provided via Google or Apple sign-in).
• •Gameplay data: scores, words found, game history, streaks, and in-app currency (Tokens) balance.
• •Device information: device type, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility.
• •Usage analytics: feature interactions, session duration, and game events to improve the app experience.

Firebase Services

We use Google Firebase for authentication, cloud storage, and backend services. Firebase may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Data is stored on Firebase servers and may be processed in multiple regions. We use Firebase App Check to protect our backend from abuse. This involves device attestation signals that do not personally identify you.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Uniwords displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID and other data to serve personalised ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your device settings. AdMob's data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not share your personal data with advertisers directly.

Analytics

We may use PostHog for product analytics. Analytics data is anonymised where possible and is used solely to understand how users interact with the app and to improve the user experience. We do not sell analytics data to third parties.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store your payment card information. Transaction data (amount, date) may be stored to manage your Token balance and purchase history.

Children's Privacy

Uniwords is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights
